New car, picked up last night. 2008 Focus 1.6 Zetec. Going from a raggedy 2001 Rover 25, it's quite nice in comparison!

Don't mind at all. Paid £5200 and my old car, which includes 2 years extended Ford warranty and 3 services. (manufacturers warranty runs out at end of this month.) 40k miles on the new car.

Seems like a bargain if thats with the 2001 rover you stated earlier!

Yeah it was. I am mates with the deputy manager in our local Ford dealer, he knew I have been looking for one for a while and sorted me out with the car he had just traded in that day at a good price

Had originally been looking at the older Focus but when I was offered that it was too good to turn down.
