My computer room already contains a genuine M5 leather centre console which arrived last week ;)

Will be collecting the bits and doing it all at once - taking the entire centre console etc out and replacing with the M5 leather console, Vavona wood trim and a Sony L77-BT TomTom based navigation/audio system :D

It's all such a tremendous waste of money on a 9 year old car but I honestly couldnt care less :D

I'm not going to bother with wing mirrors. Externally the car is exactly how I want it. It simply needs some technology upgrades and more leather bits inside.

What's wrong with those wing mirrors? The only alternative is M5 wing mirrors. The car isn't an M5 :p

I know I don't come on here as much as I used to so may have missed something, but Fox, you've really sold the 335?

Princey, that is just WIN. Nothing further to be said.

Do like the 5 series Fox, looks great :)

It's a truely fantastic car - I taxed it yesterday and I've just been out driving it for the sake of it this weekend. Familiarity leads you to forget quite how good something is. I was apprehensive about driving it properly again after the 335i - the worry was it would basically feel crap - but it just doesn't. It's a different type of car to the 335i but I really do prefer the way it drives. It's more stable at speed, the handling isn't as sharp as the 335i but it's far more compliant meaning it gives you more confidence at speed and soaks up bumps better, its less skittish, it's more refined and much quieter inside.

The 335i was a fantastic car - I'd always wanted to own one and it worked out great in the end being able to drive around in one for 3 months for just a few hundred quid a month in depreciation- but now I've ticked that box I'm far happier in a 5 Series. It's just more.. me. Predictable, unadventurous and ever so slightly dull ;)
