The badge, Stop being defensive. Live with the fact it's a Vauxhall. You take it too all the Vauxhall meets to show it off... as a Vauxhall.
I hope you watched the 6.0l VXR clip and not the boring old 5.7l version on the beach.
If I stick a Skoda badge on a BMW does it become Skoda?
Bet it doesn't say Holden on the original receipt (that came from a Vauxhall dealership).

It was built & badged in Australia as Holden. I found this out when moving the VX badged and saw the outline. it was then sent to HSV to be fettled, it then sat in a storeage yard in Australia for 18 months, where all Monaro's sit regardless of where they end up. There is NOTHING about it which is Vauxhall apart from 3 badges that don't exsist. Even a VX220 is more Vauxhall than a Monaro, even the VXR8 is. Vauxhall had some imput atleast on the VXR8.
I don't care where it was bought, the fact it was BADGED as a Holden and sat in Australlia for 18 months tells me it is a Holden, let alone the VIN plate saying HSV/Holden. You aren't going to change the MAKE of car by swapping a badge.
