Haha, no the regulators have both been changed.

Nothing too major, there is a leak resulting in a wet footwell which is extremely common and somehow I missed it on the test drive- despite feeling the carpets. I had read it was a common issue before going up, so was frustrated to find them wet the next day (albeit after an evening of rain).

The black alloys look great from about 2-3 meters away, but if you look a little closer they've been badly done...but, I'm getting the alloys powder coated tomorrow in their original anthracite (full strip back and tidy up too) and it's booked in next Monday to get the leak sorted.

One thing I will mention, the gear change feels horrid compared to the vRS, the stick must be about 2x the length and the throw isn't far off that too! I'm sure I'll get used to it (or get a short shifter). The clutch biting point is also very high, so I'm struggling to get a good change when going some.

Going to be very sad to get rid of the Octavia, it's done me very well over the last 5 years or so :(
