Managed to give her some soap, wax n a polish today. First one in about 4 or so months.

Drove an Astra VXR Nuremberg the other week. Good fun, and amazing noise but I don't think I could live with one day to day. Your VXR is a great colour.

It's pretty much the same car, the burg edition has carbon covered bits with spangly white paint and horrible decals, I think bigger alloys and better exhaust.

Not really. I got over the novelty long ago :)

The "novelty" never wore off when Firestar_3x had his. If it wasn't raining the roof was down, regardless. Heck we even had it down in the snow.

If the "novelty" of having a topless car has worn off, perhaps it's time to get something better suited to your needs. There's little point in owning a convertible with the downsides that brings, when you could have a stiffer coupé if all you want is the driving dynamics.
