If nothing has ever been replaed that it probably won't be straight cut gears. Would be an odd modification to do to a car aswell if nothing else has been done

Thats why I said maybe from the factory. My mini has been in my family and just one owner so its a not been modded or anything.

On another topic, I am shocked and amazed that my golf bag and clubs fitted into the back of my mini with no hassle. First I've put the whole in the back.

No minis came from the factory with straight cut gears iirc? That sounds identical to my old minis and I could always put those in gear without clutch with the engine off... in fact I'm sure you can in any car?

That's a straight cut mini, sounds much louder and more whiney than either of mine.

Farnborough? Odd place but stay, but the hotel in that centre was good. Recall visiting Red Hat there too.

It's actually quite a bit different to the Zetec as it has the 10 spoke allows etc

Yep, Farnborough. Agreed, shocking location for a hotel, although handy for the airport I guess. Red Hat are in the building behind my car in the pictures and there's a company called Blue Coat in the building opposite, I always have a little chuckle to myself walking past those.
