I can answer this for you, if you like. Basically, the corner piece isn't a stand-alone unit. You have to buy pedestals for either end to "prop" it up. Pedestals come in a variety of shapes and sizes; there's cupboards, double-cupboards, multi-purpose unity things, draws, filers.. etc. I'm getting this desk in a couple of weeks, along with a whole new system. I'll post some pictures when i get it sorted. By the way, Tesco do a very similar desk, and a little cheaper, which doesn't require pedestals because the corner unti has wood stands and either end to prop it up.

Thanks for giving an answer. As you say, the desk itself has no support, on it's own it is just the worktop and the centre rear leg. The pedestals are required, but bear in mind when you look at the catalogue, I believe any of the morgan range can be used, not jus the ones labelled as pedestals. Like I went for the double cupboard to make it bigger. Was very tempting to go for 2 double cupboards for even more space. May add another unit on to one end of my desk still though.

Having had it for a few weeks now, i'm still very happy with it, worth every penny :)
Oh, and the cupboards are very deep, bigger than I expected which was nice.

Thanks for the replies Richierea and Mansize_tissue. Right one other question, the double cupboards you mention, they look to be the same height as the desk so are they just stand alone units you sit on the ends of the desk to make it bigger yeah?
Also im not sure the hutch would look that good on this desk, i think having the open space of the desk would be the best idea imo.

The double cupboard (and all the other pedestals for this desk) are stand alone units or able to 'bolt' to the desk. The desk on it's own would simply fall over, as it has no end supports. The desk will bolt to the pedestal/cupboard at the rear, and a small metal bracket screws the front of the desk to the side of the cupbaord/pedestal to hold it up.

As for the hutch, I also didn't think it would go right, and now I think the open space on the desk is the best option anyway. Only slight issue is having the Samsung 206BW monitor, with no height adjustment. I could do with some sort of stand, but only a minor problem, getting used to it now.

Thanks :) is there any chance of some picks of how they connect up mate? im pretty much on the verge of getting this desk now after seeing yours and all the options you can add to the desk.

Heres some pics of the desk connected, you can see the 2 brackets holding it to the end prdestal/cupboard. It is also joined by long bolts going through the end desk part, but that can't be seen in the picture. The pedestals have pre-drilled holes on both sides for the bolts so they can attach to either side of the desk.

Nice photographs, Richierea. I want this desk even more now! And i think you're right about the hutch; it would take up too much space on top.

Don't forget you can get 3 months interest free if you get the Argos store card.

Oh, i just saw your sig.; how are you finding the NEC 20WGX2? I really want one; it's either that, the Dell 2007WFP, Samsung 206BW or, maybe, HP W2207. Have you used the NEC for gaming?

I use the NEC for gaming, even after I got my 2407 - I still prefer the NEC it just has the something extra. Its worth the premium price if you're into games.

Thank you, and i am. I think i'll get it and an adjustable stand over the Dell, then. Do you ever find it too small?

Since I've got the 2407 it does feel small in comparison for desktop activities - but then it would. :)

When I had it in dual mode with my old 17" TFT it was perfect in every way.

Shine (off topic) would it be possible for you to post some screenshots of having 2 webpages open side by side (including favourites bar), just so i can get an idea of what sort of desktop/working space you get. I'm almost certain i want this monitor but am also contemplating getting a 27" instead for the extra screen size and desktop space (mostly multitasking - having ebay/email and other windows open all over the place/winamp). May move towards getting a dual screen setup with my current 20" instead though. So many choices :(

Ooh ooh, shine, i have a request too if you don't mind: are you NEC and Dell monitors situated near each other? I was wondering if you could post a photograph of the 2, so i could get an idea of how big the NEC is. If not, would you mind posting a photograph or two of your NEC monitor anyway? Sorry if you already have done on this thread already.
