Just had a try as a squad leader, only had 2 command abilities and they took bloody ages to recharge, think the head honcho has an ability that speeds up the recharge rate but he never used it :(
 
UAV and Cluster Bomb. This game really does emphasize on teamwork. If your in a squad that sticks together then you can do well and really rack up the points. If not then your pretty much dead as any tight squads you encounter opposition wise will just waste you.
 
I've been racking up loads of kills by going wide on maps but been crap at objectives. Totally the opposite of what the game is supposed to be. :(

Just get no satisfaction from being mown down time and time again by bunker machine guns.
 
Is there anyway you can squad up with friends on this? Everytime I go to join a game that someone on my friends list is on, I just get connection error and get booted back to the profile selection screen.

I was in a squad before with the SL at rank 30 something. I thought great a SL who actually might know what he was doing. But no, he just sat in the bunker gun all game. Only getting out to disarm or repair the thing. Idiot.

They can invite you to a group via the Community menu.
 
Ahh cool. Will have to try it with some OcUK'ers. Not sure if I'll make the late sitting tonight.
 
Will your XP from this beta carry over to the full release, or will it be a fresh start? Not really fussed, as theres some unlocks I would'nt unlock straight away.

I hear you. I couldn't get a shot in from my RPG. I think it kept hitting the metal plating at the front by which time I'd been noticed and then pulverised. So then I tried sneaking up on it to plant C4 but I couldn't find the damn spot to place it. :mad:

It's one of the side parts that flashes slowly. If something flashes in that game then usually you can interact with it.

I dont think so, i remember seeing somewhere my solider called <insertnamehere>_beta. Also I guess in the full version, you'll get to have more than one soldier.
 
Don't remember but I know it's the ideal NAT, the one that doesn't cause connection issues.

Only option seems to reinstall it, got nothing else to try really.
