Sim racers - what are you running?

awesome setup Oracle

id love something like that

VR headset, no screens, wheels, pedals , gear stick etc

may i ask why you got the tent pols on the floor ? what are they doing ?

Well Fanatec are shipping my stuff, just got an e-mail, maybe here by the end of the week what with customs etc.

Not sure i can be bothered setting it and tuning in game before i new PC stuff arrives, guess i'll plug it in, test its all working and mount it ready for my new PC.

Cant wait.

When did all the Moza stuff turn up to pre order on OCUK? have to be honest i haven't looked in there for some time as didnt figure they would have higher end stuff i was actually in controllers looking for a Xbox Dongle to hook my controller up to the PC.

I am beginning to look at other options as Fanatec are NEVER getting stock back by the look of things. Moza and logitech are currently looking promising.
I'm hoping that OCUK stocks the

SR-P Lite Brake Pedal Performance Kit

when did u order? been trying to get fanatec setup and its so tough! thinking of going for CSW second hand instead att his point.
bout 10 days ago, i folded and got a CSL DD Pro even though I have no use for the PS compatibility, Waiting for the CSL DD was just stupid. Guess it was a €100+vat tax, that said I I would like to try GT7 so you never know.

@House
looking at all the boxes, you get what's inside, so do you get the McLaren in the CSL steering wheel box ?
Would be nice but I doubt I would be able to fit in it.
The GT3 wheel is really nice though, but first lap on ACC on spa I nearly ripped my thumb off. Needed to dial in those settings.

Loving the pedals though, straight out of the box they are fantastic.

Awesome mate. HOw much did the setup set you back? I wanna get into sim racing, second hand seems like a rip off so I'm tempted. I'm new to sim racing so trying to get best value possible.

I think you'll never regret Sony/PS5 compatability so good shout!

more than i should have spent in all honesty.
I put aside a bunch of cash for a new PC, sim racing and flight stuff.

Without looking at the invoice it was around, £1300 including the vat, My flight sticks and throttles are another grand (Virpil stuff but they still haven't shipped), and then there is the PC.

sweet mate. im trying to be sensible and not overspend on the driving kit & joysticks until I've got a 4090 rig + and pencilled in my yawVR2 purchase.

For now I pciked up a TM warthog for £220, honeycomb alpha for £150, some logitech TRP pedals for £250 so thas about £1100 worth of kit for £620 lol.. im trying to apply is to DD driving but its MUCH harder to find a good deal. i am thinking of going virpil for flight stuff but ive never played a flying game so thought I'd practice first if i like stick or yoke.

what games do u play flight wise?

I have used a X56 for years for my flight stuff, one of the things that triggered me to buy new kit to go with my new PC was i don't want to spend literally days setting up my stuff on a new PC to change them out over Xmas.
Anyone who plays DCS or any other flight game knows that getting it set up is a chore to say the least, makes tuning a sim setup look like binding keys,

Going the whole "buy once, cry once" way this time round, high end kit well researched to fit my needs. Should have me set for the next few years.
