SimCity V (2013) - screens/artwork and information

More likely you'll be bombarded with micro payment options, city/farmville type... nuances designed to prey on any insecurities you might be feeling because jonny has what you don't.....

You must have known this was coming, Ea are pretty much on record as saying they don't make single player games.

No mod support on launch either, so you'll definatley be paying from day one.

Well take for example Sims 3. They have so that it's shows items you can buy ingame. So when you choose a top, the top two rows are things you can buy and how much it costs  so it's right there and very easy to click by mistake.

Maybe something like that would be implemented for this too.

Constant connectivity isn't always a bad thing. Anno 2070 for example has some really cool online features. The biggest problem is when the servers go down. I don't have a huge problem with it tbh.

ugh I'd love to get excited for this with those sweet screenshots but theres an 80% chance in my head it will disappoint. I never saw the point in SC4 but was a big fan of 3000.

Constant connectivity in singleplayer is always a bad thing. Anno's online features are tempting, and if I did buy the game I'd always play it online for them. However, forcing you to be online is a big no, and a lost sale from me. Online features like that should be optional. Added value, rather than a restriction if your internet goes down.
