I tend to agree with you. I have 2 PCs (configs below) and the Radeon one seems smoother.

PC 1
P4 2.8C
6800 (NU)
1GB RAM

PC 2
P4 2.0B
9800 PRO
1GB RAM

It seems smoother on the 9800 Pro. Obviously I'm not running both in the same resolution for gaming but running both at the same resolution for testing (because of the CPU) sees the 9800 Pro performing better.

i really dont see the facination with this game at all, its simply am,azing how much money they have got from it tho, with countless expansions for the first one, and no doubt for this one in due time.

i played the first one, but after a day..i simply got bored.

if you liked the first one mind, from most accounts the 2nd will be just as enjoyable.

..enjoy :)

It's one of those games I'm afraid you either love it or hate it. A bit like Outcast which some thought was boring, ugly and awkward to control and others think it's one of the best games ever.

how the **** u put walls down, want to make a house up done what it says but nothing happens, infact can't put carpets etc, or adjust terrain

Just brought this game and I think its really good. Can be very funny but I do see how people can find it boring at times. Runs great on my system as well:

XP2500 Barton
1gb RAM
9800SE Radeon

No problems here that I've noticed but I've only had it a short time I really like the new graphics engine V smoothe n stuff

FX51 1 gb ram
Asus SK8N Mobo
9800 pro 256 mb
250 Sata HD
Winblows XP home SP2

I think this may be one of the few times the extra memory on this card may have got used.

I certainly think that's the case. You have got a very good CPU too though. :)

my sister got this game today but her machine is completely mesed up (and only has 300mb of free space left, and just about meets the min specs :p ) i was just wondering how many floors you can have, cos it always ****** me off only having 2 levels to my mansion

Well don't use it. It causes these problems. Reinstall the game and use the original CD instead of the No-Cd.

Or he could save time by opening up compressed.zip on cd4 and going to the TSBin folder and copying back the original executable instead of reinstalling . :)

My house has 4 floors but there seems to be another floorplan above that so I guess you can go even higher!
