Singapore Grand Prix 2011, Marina Bay Street Circuit - Race 14/19

Martin Whitmarsh:

"Lewis is quite relaxed and I think he's very determined. He has had a difficult season, and he did everything he could to try to stay out of trouble at the last race.

I told him that was a very disciplined drive but I would like the old Lewis back."

:D

Strikes me as two very "Me Gusta" faces there.

Jenson out in P2

Why couldn't the marshalls just push Jenson back? :( The car had no damage, the engine was running, he just couldn't get reverse. It's not like outside intervention would mess-up the race result as it's a practice session FFS!

I really loathe this circuit. 90 degree bend followed by 90 degree bend followed by 90 degree bend...

Same here. I came back from work and turned on the telly to see a bit of free practice. Trouble was I didn't know where on Earth the GP was this weekend, which isn't unusual now at this stage of the season... :p

Then I saw a track layout. Ah yes. I have no idea where we are on the circuit, one right angled corner after another, armco, fencing, floodlights and nothing else. Oh yeah... It's Singabore. :(

At least John Watson's old skool attitudes have proven mildly distracting.

Yup, they took too long to come over and help.

Wont be posting here much, but will be watching quali and the race - I reckon Vettel will get the title this weekend.

For that to happen he needs to win, and then for neither button, alonso or webber to come second, and alonso to be off the podium all together.

Cant see it happening tbh, but its pretty much done anyway.

i think the kerbs on turn 3 and 14 need to be put in the epic fails tbh :p

ps. sorry if its been mentioned already, i havent read much of the thread
