Pitting Hamilton won't have cost Rosberg, being entirely unable to see the possibility of a reaction to Hamilton's stop from Ricciardo might have cost Rosberg the race.

If Rosberg pitted one lap after Ricciardo having pushed for 2 laps since Hamilton's stop and he would win this race without even a hint of trouble.

As silly as it is, I too could see Ros doing this. He's not measured like Alonso who used to be happy sitting in 2nd place, not risking anything.

In any case, I can't see Ric catching and passing, as much as I'd like it.

The commentary is daft. They say the laps in the traffic cost Ric, but Ros had to negotiate the same traffic too, which further flattered Rics times.

Is there something wrong with that? It seems like a lot of the forum are particularly hostile towards people that don't support Hamilton.

I don't particularly support either Hamilton/Rosberg as I'm a ferrari fan rather than a fan of drivers.

Either way was a solid drive by Nico and a deserved win. Was hoping Ric would get him but needed another lap or two. Vettel also drove superbly.

Probably but as Murray Walker always said, catching is one thing and passing is quite another. Especially around this kind of track.

Always has been here. If you dare say anythig against LH you'll get ganged up on. You either love him or get vilified for not.
