Gate receipts, fan base etc have a direct impact on a clubs wage structure & transfer budget (something I would have a thought a member of the peoples club would have recognised).

Who do you honestly think a club like Everton can attract?

Would have been fine by me at the time, I think he is a very capable manager.

See this is an argument I cannot understand. Do you believe that fergie can walk on water? Or turn water into wine?

He hand picked liam miller and Luke Chadwick, and Jones in midfield. He is fallible.
 
Everton were paying Moyes £65k a week... they'll be plenty of managers on the continent available for that money and a lot less.


Bill is trying to get another appearance on Corrie...

Not sure what is funnier, Rafa Benitez being such a low price, or Duncan Ferguson's inclusion(isn't Steffan Freund Spurs Assistant?)?

I might have a cheeky bet on Martin O'Neill(Di Matteo isn't bad odds either imo)

Phil Neville would've been a personal choice but with Wigan down its almost certainly Martinez thats got the job. Watching Wigan it cant be a bad thing that he would introduce passing under 10 yard to the Everton team
 
It's going to be lovely seeing Man Utd sign Messi and Ronaldo, and one of them being on the bench, so that Osman can start. ;)
 
I'm gonna put £1 on Souness. If that happened, I even think the Liverpool fans would be upset for Everton fans!
 
Why would Everton even consider Martinez as manager. A man that's been consistent relegation fodder on a similar budget to Moyes
