I tried for tickets a few weeks back but once it became 'official' that'll be the game where we lift the trophy there was no chance, even less now I suspect.

I'm probably going to be a crying wreck from my sofa let alone being there in person :( :p

I like how everyone goes on about how amazing ferguson is but yet they amazingly still think are a better judge than him when it comes to finding a suitable replacement.

Football fans lol

Better off for it what way?

He's shown he can produce effective, value for money football. What remains to be seen in Moyes is if he can produce a winning football team. And if they're not a winning side, can they be an entertaining, true footballing side. He produced neither at Goodison. Never mind both.

He's also about to find out what Rafa meant by Everton being a "smaller club".

A true footballing side ? Pretty sure the teams of the late 1800s had more in common with long ball tactics than tika tika football...

And you also clearly don't know much about the sport if you don't think everton have played entertaining football, some of their football this season has been brilliant. Clueless you are.

Don't give up your dayjob to become a pundit...

Last warning!

Seriously lol.

Maybe you should ask JohnnyG if he was offended or if he was having a joke which is what it was, we're going to have trouble hill Gilly if you have lost the ability to see when people are having a joke :/

The Gustov thread, many lolz were had that night, the fact that I was purposely posting pics where one was a girl :D

Many lolz :D

I must admit I can't help feeling that the whole we need someone who's going to stay forever thing is being a little overplayed. Moyes stayed a long time at Everton because he got on well with Kenwright, didn't bitch about having no money and was relatively successful in terms of league position on occasion, Kenwright knew he would struggle to get someone as good and no one else came in for Moyes. Ferguson stayed a long time at United because he developed into one of the best managers in history and kept winning things. You'd need to be bloody stupid to sack him. The reason they were kept on so long was because in the eyes of the owners they were doing well not because the clubs are really nice about sacking people. I think you are all mental if you think Moyes will be given anywhere near his contract length if he doesn't hit the ground running and win things.

Personally I think Moyes is a big mistake and massively out of his depth at United. I can't see what he offers in terms of dealing with big players (especially getting their respect, I severely doubt Ronaldo would be as enthusiastic about playing for United again now) top domestic experience or european experience. Other than the Scottish link I can't really see why Fergie recommended him. Didn't Fergie also recommend McLeish for Villa?

Regardlees of trophies won, experience etc I just don't think his style of play fits man U either personally. Yes, on very rare occasions they have played some ok looking stuff, but 99% of the time, and especially against teams Moyes feels are bigger clubs he reverts to type and had them playing the long ball up to elbows and hope they get the 2nd ball or hope they get a goal via a set play. Man U have always been a club that played with a certain style, with falir and atack minded players, can Moyes replicate that? I would have massive doubts if I was fan of that club.

The post about G|mp being bi is true though - ask JohnnyG!

I know he used to be but I hear he's 100% gay now.

Seriously lol.

I think Hill Gilly knows that ;)
