The distance is now based on your home to the cabinet not the exchange..
Cool is there anyway to find the nearest cab?

I'm going to change from virgin to sky for tv, so thought I see if I could get infinity. Seems I can but it says 26.2Mb I though infinity was at least 40Mb?

Time for some new homeplug devices, get full speed now plugged into router, get circa 20Mbps on wireless.
Get circa 8-13 via some 85 devolo units !
I highly recommend the 200mpbs netgear ones, i'm using them right now and the only downside i can note is that compared to a direct cable it adds about 4ms on to your gaming pings Getting full speed net out of them though.

Anyway, today's my install day! Tried to get o2 to push back the cut off point in case BTO don't turn up but they wouldn't / couldn't,
No great loss TBH and I'm all for sites being blocked
I'm now looking to take the plunge with SKY (I wanted to make sure that the early adopters give positive feedback first).
My problem is that I cannot afford to be without internet (as I often work from home).
Is it possible to keep 02 connected, until after BTO have done the changeover to SKY?
I wouldnt even mind paying a month extra to O2, if only to avoid being in the situation that BTO give me problems when setting up the new internet connection.
My understanding is that when signing up to SKY, you can do this online and SKY will contact O2 directly to cancel the O2 internet connection - in otherwords it is out of the hands of the customer.
