Just a quick question.. I had Sky+ installed just before christmas. I understood that i signed up to a 12 month contract by doing this.. Now that sky hd is almost upon us, will i be able to order a sky hd box and pay the normal price (£299 + £10pm sub) and get rid of my sky+ box without having to 'buy out' the remaining months on my sky+ contract?
just incase this changes things.. I have 2 sky+ boxes with the top sky package. This means i pay 1x£10 sub for sky+.. Initially i will only want one sky hd box (so will keep the other sky+ box installed) Hope someone can shed some light without me having to speak direct to sky.
Hope that makes some sense :O
Cheers

FrankJH said:Shimmyhill suggested earlier that the Sky HD box had a 300Gb drive in it but only 160Gb was usable by us --- so what is it using the other 140Gb for? I understand the need for buffers etc but nearly 50% of the drive???
Im sure that can probably be modifiedvintage-x said:The 140gb of reserved space is suposed to be used for future updates by sky
the main one being video on demand
also the fact that it has usb and sata connectors may allow external storage to be connected?

lol not good enough for meBIGbungle said:two words "World Cup"
Say NUFC and not having to fork out £470 a year to watch the crap in the cold and it could well be worth it lolBIGbungle said:two words "World Cup"
