Hey guys, no idea if it's the right place for this but any decent offers for Sky at the mo? Currently with TalkTalk and can't get Virgin where I am so that narrows down my options somewhat.

My apologies, no idea how I missed that! Thanks man.Check out my stickied thread at the top of this section.
So I should be able to get you a discounted deal of £45 for everything for 18 months if you send me a trust message.
That's a rip off. Renegotiate. If only deals like that were available for current customers .
£85 for everything here (sky q 2tb, one mini, entertainment, ultimate on demand, HD and multiscreen, sports and movies) at the moment.

Contract is up soon paying £40 for everything but sports also a mini. I find the movies are now worth watching since they get better timed releases
The mrs still watches the usual soap gubbins and i watch TV on a catch and hop not sure if we are going to renew it this year.
Upgrading to an OLED later this year so i want that 2TB and another 2 mini boxes. If they plan on charging me more than £50 am off too!
Until sky offer HDR I wouldn't worry to much about the SKY 4k content on an Oled, the best content for that TV is Netflix / Amazon at the moment or a 4k UHD player.
Licensing agreements sadly.
It’s likely yes. These rights come and go regularly and cycle through other services.Just found The Passage available again. Does that mean Agents of Shield will be coming back?
With Sky Broadband WPS is the only connection method available to connect the boxes. There's no option to disable it on the boxes. It can be disabled on the Router but, I suspect, the Q boxes won't like it one bit and are likely to lose connection. The only option, AFAIK, is to hardwire them as you've said then, if you wish, you can disable the Wireless hotspots in the Installer menu. WPS will still remain active though.Just got sky Q and a mini box and have a question.
Is there really no way to disable wps?
I don't want it on, it's not secure, but even with it turned off on the router, it remains active on the q boxes. Other than hardwire and then turn off the wifi off completly in the settings, is there really no way to disable wps on the Q boxes? Considering the mini box pretty much tells you wired or wps and has no other options to manually do it, I guess not, but just thought I'd check.

Are you worried that someone might be able to see you like watching love Island? Thanks.
Already disabled on the router when I got it, only back on because the installers needed it to make it work on wifi.
I'll just disable the wifi hotspots on the boxes and disable wps on the router and go hardwired then if it's the only way and best that can be done. Most of my stuff is wired, so don't really need the mesh/hotspots anyway and the boxes are in easy places to get a cable to.
Poor by sky hardware wise. Cheap out on ethernet ports on the router and only give two and then force the sky boxes to use a vulnerable method if you want to use the wifi on them.
Sky actually agree on the Ethernet issue, next hub is going back to four.Thanks.

Not much can be done if there's an Openreach delay sadly. You won't be charged until it goes active though.Has anyone had any issues with there being a delay in activating sky broadband? I've recently signed up to Sky Q tv bundle with broadband and was told that the broadband would be activated on 15th but I'm still waiting for it to be activated. Sky are saying that openreach are having to do something in order to activate it.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and how they've dealt with it as Sky are just passing the buck and I'm quite annoyed that we cannot use half the features of the sky q and obviously not having broadband.
Can’t say I’ve ever heard of that or had the issue myself. All content is the same AFAIK, once uploaded onto the servers it doesn’t change until it expires. So quick question about downloads on the Q box.
On the standard catch up tv, the listed download sizes and what it gets are different for some things. Dead pixels for example under all formats lists the HD one as 3.3GB, when it starts to download, it lists % of 3.3GB downloaded but then switches to a 1.6GB download. Playback seems to be hd. Tried with another program (sliced on dave) and same. Listed in the all formats as 1.7GB for the HD and 500MB for the SD, starts to download showing 1.7GB, before switching to showing 1.3G download.
Tried some stuff on iplayer, and that's correct. What it downloads matches the listed sizes.
Is the info just not accurate sometimes, or do they get replaced with lower bitrate stuff as they near expiry? Don't have box sets so can't check there.
Thanks.
