I didn't get a single call from the date I gave my notice - rang them the day before the service was due to cancel and by pure luck I'd logged into my "MySky" account and there was a big notice saying I could have 50% off!

It turned out to be only off the base package (ie. not off the multiroom too) so I complained while I was on the phone and got 70% off AND a £50 credit to my account! :D

Had the 60% offer in my inbox shortly after cancelling but holding out for a bit more if we can. Just rang them up to inquire about Sky Sports and been quoted £28.60 for Boxset Bundle and Sky Sports HD? Still doesn't seem great to be honest and works out to paying £13pcm for just Sports HD.
 
Just resigned up after cancelling in May.

I got 75% discount with £50 credit, so pay £20.90 for the complete bundle. Also on a rolling contract.
 
Did you get a 75% discount code emailed to get you back?

Ive just cancelled mine and got 60% off in my account already.

Just did a quote for a new account (may sign up under GF name) of £80 for complete Sky Q bundle with fibre max broadband and another box compared to the £105 I pay now to both Sky and BT.
 
No I saw it on HUKD so just said I'd seen it there. Persisted for probably half an hour on the chat trying to get the best deal.
 
Just for anyone with virgin media they are really dropping prices it seems. Had an offer to stay on my current package which ends January

I was on the full house TV and 100mb broadband paying £48 that now is reduced to £29 i had to ask again if that was a correct price.

Sadly I'm invested in the sky Q now and its pretty decent when it works well. But thats a great offer.

Ended up keeping 100mb broadband with them for £24 a month not great but will do until the yearly cancellation dance happens.
 
Hi people.

Just cancelled mine today as my bill was much more than I am happy with paying. Noticed people are being sent these offers of 60% off etc, does this just get emailed to your registered email on the account or does it appear somewhere when you log in to MySky (and if so, where?)

Mine was emailed to me and was in my sky when I logged in after getting email took about a week or so to arrive

i got the 50% off on the site when i logged in a few days later, went to accept it on web chat and he offered me the 60% for some reason.

Just logged in now and the 50% off has appeared. Did you say anything to prompt the 60% or did they just offer this when you went to accept the 50%?

Go for the 75% and credit in your account. Say you've had friends who've got that deal and seen it on the Sky forums and HUKD
 
Just started Live chat after the 75% off and a credit, Will update on the result.
Currently on a 50% deal that expires this month so lets see what happens :D
 
How does it work if I upgrade to Sky Q, which I understand is a 18 month contract. I've just started a 12 month Sky contract with a 60% discount. If I upgrade to Sky Q will I have to pay full price for the last 6 months of the 18 month contract?
 
Anyone have any experience of signing up in their wife's name? We have a joint account so that'll remain the same.

Phoned up to accept the 60% offer as was fairly happy with that (just Boxsets Bundle) and they've now told me that offer has expired and best they will do is 50% off for 12 Months.

i was enquiring about a 1tb box, mine is 3 years old, he must not have been able to offer me one as part of the 50% deal so offered the 60%.
