Sky UK launching HDR Wednesday 27th May.

So I get it even though I don't have 4K or multiroom? I see no reason why they can't do 1080p HDR but I bet they don't.

Is there a try before you buy option? I was disappointed with Sky's 4K offering but HDR has always, IMHO, may for a bigger picture improvement

No Extra charge purely for HDR. It comes as part of any UHD or Q Experience subs you already have.

I have a compatible box it seems 32B12C, but im not sure if i have the correct software version.

what software version is being rolled out to support HDR ?

The firmware for HDR was installed days ago and then just a trigger sent out, as far as I understand, to enable it...

oh ok thanks for clearing that up, just worked out my AVR does not support HDR/HLG so had to plug directly into into the TV and hey presto HDR10 working now

I had to go into the settings on my q box and tell it to install the update. Left it for a few minutes and the box told me to put the box into stand by mode to install update. Did that and then the box reset it self, when it come back on the update was done.
