Skyrim VR steam page is up

I'm mainly interested in how it handles the touch controllers, i.e. if it actually uses the finger/grip sensing, and has thumbstick free-movement navigation. The touch controllers are way more versatile than the Vive wands, let alone the PSVR move controllers, so it'd be great if it properly supported it.

No system specs yet?

Fallout isn't 'that' bad once you iron it out, but I'm hoping skyrim performs a little better and is more pleasing on the eye.

I'm interested in this as well. Is it Rift only or Vive too?

I should have checked on Steam before posting. It supports Vive too. That's £40 spent!

I just hope the 'standing' only experience is as good as 'room scale'.

I'm remarkably excited about this...

Who can tell? I think it got favourable reviews for the PSVR.

Fallout 4 was very immersive, the controls could be better so I think I know what to expect for Skyrim and even though I've probably bought this game more times than I should, Bethesda will be, again, getting my money.

As there's no pre-order discount what's the point of pre-ordering? It's not like it can go out of stock on Steam. I am desperate for this game - it's my dream game in VR along with No Mans Sky, but I really need to know how good it is on the Oculus before I buy.

Minimum and recommend specs if anyone’s interested.

MINIMUM: OS: Windows 7/8.1/10 (64-bit versions) Processor: Intel Core i5-6600K or AMD Ryzen 5 1400 or better Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 / AMD RX 480 8GB or better Storage: 15 GB available space

RECOMMENDED: OS: Windows 10 (64-bit) Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Memory: 8 GB RAM Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 8GB / AMD RX Vega 56 8GB Storage: 15 GB available space

I have a feeling this will be 1st VR game to really give my r9-290 a tough time

I guess my i7-4790k and EVGA 1080Ti FTW3 should be able to run this then. :D
The thing is Skyrim being an old game is pretty light on the resources, so should work great in VR.

Still waiting to see what the Oculus controller support is like, and how it performs. Pity there's not an Oculus SDK version either, as performance is generally better using than Steam VR.
