SLEEP - when do you start, how long, and when do you get up?

When i was younger i would often survive on just 4/5 hours and sleep 10+ hours on weekends. Now i go to bed at 12:30/1am and wake up at 7am and still religiously wake up at 7am on weekends without an alarm.

As a student in the revision period and I have nothing scheduled but learning, I try to be in bed before 0300, ignore all my morning alarms and get up anywhere from 1300 to 1600.

Do you guys go to sleep at them times because you are actually tired? If I try go to bed when I'm not that tired, I just lay in bed struggling to sleep.

currently 4am to 7am

if my body had its way 4am to 1pm

if my mind had its way 10pm to 7am

you can see the conflict of interest here, being a heavy sleeper/evening person combo is hell :(

During the Week then it's between 22:00 and 23:00 up at 05:50. Friday and Saturday night I usually stay up later (01:00 roughly) and get up a bit later depending on when my daughter wakes.

I go to bed at 10-10:30 and get up at 7

I need 8 hours minimum or I'm not much good for the day ahead. Following a strict bodybuilding lifestyle taught me the importance of sleep, and since then I've just gotten used to it and rely on having that much sleep. I've been lucky that even since having my son, other than the very early months, he's always slept right through so I've never been affected

Weekdays

bed at 11:30am until 3pm then back to bed at 10pm until 1am for work...

Weekends

Bed around 11pm and get up at 7am with my little'un

Work nights I'll go to bed anywhere in between 9-10pm and wake up at 5:15am. On weekends I go to sleep whenever I feel like it but I'll usually end up waking up at about 7/7:30am.

10:30 - 5:30 for me. I seem to need slightly less sleep the older I get but generally have no trouble getting a solid seven hours in every night.

Bed at 1AM, up at 8AM, if I'm working.
If I'm not, then bed usually comes between 1AM and 3AM, and up anytime between 9AM and 11AM.

I'm not a morning person. I wish I was. It would be much more useful.

I go to bed at 12 as that is what I deem my bed time, I'm not often actually tired at that time, but I know if I don't go to bed I damn sure will be tired in the morning :p
