Just a thought, I assume your ps5 is outputting 4k and the Virgin box is not? Might be worth trying to set the ps5 to 1080 to see if it stops.
Yes and the same thing happens......... AAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHSeems like TV not playing nice suddenly then, did you ever try resetting the TV?
The PS5 already outputs 1080 and nothing at all, the same issue keeps happening.Just a thought, I assume your ps5 is outputting 4k and the Virgin box is not? Might be worth trying to set the ps5 to 1080 to see if it stops.
Yes it works fine with another spare older Bravia. But two questions which are,Did you say it was ok when you tested it on another older tv?
If yes it’s the tv at issue, if it’s under warranty, contact place you purchased it from, if not maybe new tv time?, annoying as that is.
Yes the HDMI 1 port works perfectly, it is connected to something else, but no issue there.
Again I put the HDMI Splitter into HDMI Port 1, and with the new HDMI Cable, which is a high speed one, The same issue happened.
What is plugged into HDMI 1 at the moment though is a Virgin Box, no issues.

- How come that when I have tried the PS5, with it's HDMI Lead/HDMI Splitter into HDMI Port 1 and HDMI Port 2, it flickers................... AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH
- How come that despite the VIRGIN MEDIA BOX, being connected to the TV, and that is in HDMI Port 1, by default, it does not flicker?
IT IS NOT THE PS5!!!!!!!!!!Because it’s not:
The TV/port on the TV
The splitter
The HDMI cable
It’s the PS5.
Have you tried plugging in the PS5 directly to the TV? Without the splitter?
Nope it is not the PS5 which is dying, the PS5 is working perfectly!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And if it died, and was dying then explain how on an older Bravia it works, when on the newer Bravia, it flickers?! The same HDMI ports are on both the newer and older Bravia!Conflicting information.
Sounds like it’s independent of the port you used and also the HDMI cable doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Different device not having any issues so not the TV.
It’s your PS5. Graphics card likely dying.
Try a full reset first. If it doesn’t work it’s needs repairing/ replacing.
Nice of you to bully someone who is 89 and has Dementia.Have you tried posting "AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH" multiple times?
