Yeah, I would love AMOLED for the ambient-ness, I've turned it off on the 360 because it's effectively pointless except reducing battery life.

But without an analogue watch face the bezel on the GWR does look odd/worse than the 360 imo, the flat tyre I thought would annoy me a lot but in use I barely notice it, obviously ideally we'll get a watch that's AMOLED, round, no flat tyre but with the bezels of the 360

My G Watch R seems a little sluggish when raising it to look at. Unless I really sharply seeing it up, it starts dim. Just me?

Have you updated it to 4.4W2? Go to settings and about, and the options for system updates should be there. That improved the watch's reaction quite a bit, so far it's been working fine for me.

Tried the Wear Mini Launcher app but even though it gave me quick access to apps, I felt it got in the way.

There were other music apps but this one gives me full control over Poweramp.

Used the watch so far for about 5 and a half hours, and it's only used 12% battery. Been only using it for checking Whatsapp and Facebook messages, as well as emails so far though.

Impressively the g watch r seems to take just over an hour to charge making a top up charge a lunch time a real option. Shame it needs the dock. I'm sure other options will arrive

I'm also finding if you lose connection, it doesn't seem to want to reconnect. Anyone else notice this?

It takes a while to reconnect but it's not that long for me. What phone are you using? It seems to be spot on for me with my HTC One M7.

Wear battery stats gives you battery level and time left prediction on your phone. Seems accurate for me. Could do with a widget

My Samsung Gear Live charger pin broke off the other day. Rang Google and they're refunding me so now I have the decide what to buy instead. Loved the Gear Live but don't want to deal with that charger again, 360 or G Watch?? Also, anywhere that has either in stock to walk in and buy?

Really want to order a watch but can't decide between the 360 or the LG R.

Really like the moto but don't like the ugly bar at the bottom of the screen.
LG looks nice but looks bulky and big...

Any help would be great in deciding....

You don't really notice the black bar in the 360 after the first few mins. And if you use a black watchface, you'll never notice it.

This is the truth. After an hour or two you'll never notice it.

Are there any brick and mortar shops I can try these out? The dimensions seem pretty big and I have small wrists. I fear I may look a bit of a bell.
