I'm not sure then, I went into the gear app - about gear (near the bottom of the list) update gear software then manually searched.

Just received my Samsung Gear S3 although it's for christmas i've naturally had to test it out!

Currently updating as we speak, taking an absolute age.

Not sure .. I noticed early yesterday morning Gear manager update was in notification then after that had installed it showed the gear watch update was ready to download

Anyone got any recommendations for a previous gear s2 owner? I liked it but multiple straps broke for me! I'd like something similar to this /apple watch size, with a strap type I can wear in the gym or for work.

Mine updated a few days ago too, although I had to manually remove / add a few apps to get them running again. The interface seems more clunky than it was before, but there's some nice new features.

My friend has lent me his S3 Frontier to unbox and review... seems nice, needs a little getting used to is all I guess. What am I supposed to install to track me cycling for example?
