That won't do anything! They'll just wait for to be officially released and list it when they have the actual device which given all the press when it comes to launch might net them larger profits.
 
I managed to get one but I have to drive 40m to Salisbury to get it. Can't complain though as I only found out it was for sale quite late.

Wrong. I managed to get one myself, and what other sites could you be missing out on? Everywhere else is sold out.

I can't imagine someone at Tesco saying you know what a good way to annoy our customers is, let's keep putting stock out and then take it away at the last minute.

It's all automated systems. All that's happening is people are cancelling orders, cards declined later, people ordering multiple units which are removed etc. and get put back in the pot for others, unfortunately probably is one's and two's but that triggers the stock alert emails and then it's a mad dash and bit of luck.
 
tesco site is deffo weird, it shows as in stock on order page, can add to basket, but then when try to checkout it boots it out of basket saying not enough stock.

I wonder if they have done to try and fool bots.

Also game uk site no longer shows if available or an order button, I wonder if thats also for anti bots.

If I can get this from tesco I will cancel my game order as I would prefer to get from tesco for clubcard points.
 
I just pre-ordered in store at Game in Staines. Had to pay a deposit. They had 20 left for their allocation in store.

Maybe worth trying in store rather than online with Game.
 
Just had a call from Argos, as I missed out last week when they took too many orders they added me to the priority list and just called to see if I still wanted one and take payment.

All went through fine, said the rest will be going live next week so if you're still after one keep checking Argos or get your email registered for alerts at StockInformer.co.uk
 
I've missed a call from a private number this morning, guessing it was Argos. I was asleep as I work nights.. doh!

Edit: They called back and I now have a preorder.

Walked into Game in Peterborough this afternoon. Preordered one for £50. They had about 20 preorders available but wouldn't let me have more than one.

Made sure to order with my CC just in case.
 
Still no joy. I keep telling myself that more will become available in time. It looks like it's going to be a case of right place, right time though. Otherwise resign myself paying a fortune. :mad:

In the interim, I thought that I would cheer myself up and picked up a Switch. I just opened the box and it's much smaller than I envisaged, it's a lot smaller than a Wii U. Interestingly just looking now and the Switch is sold out! :eek:

I would love to see Nintendo classic games re-released on the Switch.

I checked everywhere the evening of the day it was announced and nothing was available, seems like everything went live the day after and Amazon and Game sold out in minutes, so annoyed I missed it.

This happened to me too, quite frustrating. Looks like I just got one from Argos so very happy :)
 
Looks like I got one From Argos as well.

Amazon are also limiting these to just one per customer to try and stop scalpers as well.
