Snow White 2024

The title is where the money is bruh
Yep since theres no real resemblance to original story all they have to di is change the name and they be ok, i mean what does this film really have in common with the original? Theres no snow white i dunno if theres a witch, i dont think its set in a magical land with supernatural dwarfs that arnt meant to be human dwarfs etc, if theres no love story then thats missing too. The only thing they share is a title and thats it aint it?

Publicly slams the film that both made and saved Walt Disney, blames everyones else...

oo noooo noo noo.

she loves the film now!! Always did!! she just blaming all her Co-stars now for not supporting her because she can't keep her mouth shut. That variety interview lol

"They're just having a bad day and I'm making a movie!!!!!!"

Disney would be better ****-canning this movie and paying her to never open her trap about it in public ever again. It's already had a tonne of negative publicity about the dwarves, then little Miss Mouth-Almighty gets trotted out onto the interview stage and proceeds to stick her foot into her mouth at every given opportunity. For someone who has barely done anything in the movie world she has a big mouth to say the least and comes off as quite the entitled little arse in interviews.

As a Disney fan, I'm just sad that there is so much politics around these recent films including the upcomig Snow White. It was only 10 years ago when they were cashing in on Frozen, Tangled, Moana etc. Could they not go back to doing that sort of stuff again?

It’s a completely different topic than ‘politics’ and I do quite like those films, but there is actually a mini-backlash against them, plus Zootopia and Encanto, for having the exact same personality type as the protagonist woman.

When you think about it, it’s true - they do all have those ‘wise cracking, ernest, goofy, likeable loser’ traits.

I’m not sensitive to that, but some women find this trope really boring and annoying, apparently. I was sort of interested to read about that as I’d never even considered it before but, huh, maybe they have a point.

'women' isn't the core audience children

if true hah

The source claims that Disney has hired a young actress to play Snow White as a child. The idea is to cut time out of Zegler’s performance, show Snow White as a cute little kid, and soften the character with flashbacks and/or major origin story portion at the beginning of the film. Of course, edits have not begun for these scenes as we believe they’re not shot yet, so things could change. That said, if they do go forward with significant cutaways to Snow White as a child, this is a deviation from the original. And, wouldn’t you know it, after receiving this information last week, it turns out there are sites reporting that Disney has, indeed, hired a young actress to take the role. And that would mean that they’re actively inserting a new childhood-portion of the movie that wasn’t originally planned!

Imagine being a company that doesn't like people who it employs publicly trashing its products...weird...weird...

:D

Surely Rachel Zegler must be the most self centred, obnoxious, narcissistic, entitled, opinionated and hypocritical bint in Hollywood :p

She has single handedly sunk this woke dumpster fire of a film.

I'd literally avoid like the plague any film with her in it.

Weird, weird :p

The CGI "little people", from the brief glimpses, look poor to me, as in they look like someone has CGI'd the 2D flat original character artwork into a new 3D model so things like the skin textures "look" like its hand drawn on top of a 3D asset, but the rest of the cast are obviously human - A bit like Who Framed Roger Rabbit almost, a really odd choice.

Also, having someone as beautiful as Gal Gadot saying the Mirror Mirror (or Magic Mirror) line, but then having the Mirror say Zegler is effectively "prettier" (as per the OG story) also just doesn't seem like a good idea so I wonder if/how they'll change the story to make it match - will "fairer" be re-interpreted into "better person" or something?

That's exactly what Zegler seems to have been suggesting in a couple of her press interviews.
