sucks, cause it means all of us who preordered as soon as preorders went live, wont get ours till the day after release :(
 
Tempted by the ROG Crosshair VI Hero - AMD Ryzen 7 1700X CPU & Motherboard Bundle and trying to convince myself that an upgrade from a 2500K is needed.

I trying to tell myself the same thing, except a 1700 bundle. For a week now I've been adding a removing stuff in my basket. I was going to do it last night. BUT - waiting for the first reviews in the morning then will order :)

I didn't realise the 1700 bundle came with the same mobo chipset as the 1700X one until I just checked right now. From what I know the 1700 can be overclocked to reach close to the 1700X speeds anyway and the 1700 was what I was originally going to get.
 
My AMD kits from Phanteks & Noctua only just dispatched yesterday ..so they going to take 4 to 10 Days to arrive , OC may sold out pre-orders stock ..so could be tell end of march on some cpus & motherboards ..never know

i went for the same bundle to replace my 3770k, i used the shiny and new excuse to justify my purchase

Mine was dispatched on the 23rd. Not shown up yet. Thinking I should have bought one as £6 and was going for build Sunday. Actually just thought I got amd3 bracket and hero board

I did the same with a EK one but the Hero board supports both AM3 and 4 brackets.
 
Reading this,. so glad I'm not the only one who has been adding and removing Ryzen for the last week. I still can't make my mind up. I don't need it as my system is doing fine but new shiny... gee!
