I'm surprised we (Brighton) have 7 points from 9, especially after the fiasco and frustration of last season.

Houghton appears to have made some shrewed signings, and got the team playing nice and compact, but with more attacking intent compared to last season.
I would have taken mid-table at the start of the season, but who knows now - there could be a chance of playoffs from what I've seen so far.

Only 3 games played, but so far so good.

That is an unbelievable amount of money to spend on 1 player from a Championship club (and a club that was playing in League 1 last season). Where are they getting the funds from?

There is certainly a chance, but I still don't think we have enough goals. Hemed looks pretty decent but not sure he is really a goalscorer, and whilst I am a fan of Baldock and I think he will score quite a few this season, he won't score enough on his own. I think we need another pacy forward.

at least we look like we have goals from midfield now as well!


There are so many teams that have a chance in this division it really is almost impossible to tell who will be up there some the end of the season(well, apart from Middlesbrough of course!).

The guy who has owned them for years is a billionaire. He got burnt badly a few seasons ago by overspending... looks like he's not learned his lesson.
 
I'm surprised to see Derby struggling for wins, I genuinely thought they would be challenging at the top right from the off.

Lua Lua with another motm performance today. Sometimes defenders at this level just can't live with him. He gets fouled so much because of his style of play it is unreal!
