Well not really. We were consistently winning/not losing and now we've consistently been bad 5 games. The score line wasn't very indicative though, 2 penalties and Derby with all the possession and most shots. Defensive blunders all over again though.

Ah well, a turn around in form soon hopefully!

I would not call that consistent promotion form, each to their own though.

If we're going as far back as 10 games we may as well do the whole season then! W 13, D 10, L 5.

Our CURRENT form is poor. There is still a very long way to go, the proof will be if we pick it back up.
 
Derby did have a really good run after they beat us at the KC Stadium. They are now experiencing a slight dip in form, which every team goes through over the course of a season. Hull had theirs in December. I'm hoping that was it for dips and hopefully we've got ours out of the way!

Haha - we were awesome in the first half, completely played around and through Leeds. It looked like we were a good division above them. that said, for all our lovely play, we barely had any serious goal scoring opportunities.

Second half it was like our players had never met before, and Leeds got back into the game. Unfortunately a defensive **** up allowed the equaliser, and despite Leeds being the better side in the second half, I didn't see them scoring until we messed up. Thought you had a decent shout for a penalty in the second half at the time, but having seen a reply Antonucci goes down like he's been shot!

Ho hum, on to solidifying our mid-table mediocrity. First season in four that we've not had anything to play for... and it's proper boring like.

i still think he might sign after seeing sense and kicking his agent in the groin

the whole thing is definitely doing him no favours. read article with paul lambert where it seemed like he had already spent the money in his head :p

karanka/gibson have made it clear that no individual is bigger than the team and i guess he wanted to be

I don't think it's straight forward. There's a ton of "He said/she said" going on.
But it's a farce.

This has been a player who's been courted for a year, there's no way in hell that Rhodes has just decided "Oh, their offer isn't enough". There's more to it than that.

That said, given the Premiership money these days, I think we should do whatever to sign Rhodes.

Maybe. There's 2 sides I guess, we give in to his (agent's) demands in the hope we hit the premiership jackpot but then we run the risk of not getting promoted and being left crippled by the deal. I read it would cost Boro in the region of £30m in total - consider that out annual turnover is only £16m. OR Sack the deal off, take no risk, look for another target, but reduce chances of promotion.

I say if they are being greedy sods, then call their bluff. I live in hope that Ramirez will be the signing of the window and he'll go on to form a lethal partnership with Stuani (because Karanka finally recognises him as a striker) that fires us to premiership glory. Too optimistic?
 
£6m+ for Tarkowski to Burnley :eek: That could ultimately be £15m from them in total fees this season alone!?!
