you will likely be appalled by this but back in the day i used to take a bottle of HP sauce with me on holiday in my hand luggage for breakfast.
ended up taking a massive bottle in the suitcase because everyone kept borrowing it.
nowadays i am not so bothered.... however i was delighted on my holiday last week, and it is the 1st time i have seen it abroad.......... HP brown sauce was provided by the hotel.

I tell you why most Brits are pretty poor abroad.
It is the freedom they have, which they can't get in the UK.
Everything in the UK is controlled, and restrictive, when they go abroad they are unable to control themselves.
After 10 days they normally reduced their behavior.

Last time I went it was just before COVID for 6weeks.
Haven't gone abroad since as I was not jabbed and I just can not be bothered, plus getting things arranged for when I move, seems to take forever.

I remember going on holiday to Mallorca in the early 90s, and a couple had a vanity case full of ketchup, chutneys, etc which they brought down each meal.
I think helping young people is probably the top of my agenda, as it just seems stacked against them.
- increased regulation of landlords and rent controls, so people have to run it as a full enterprise at scale rather than ‘investment on the side’. Increase tax on sale of second homes to disincentivise the practice.
- caps on tuition fees + more government subsidies for students.
- nationalise rail and make it an economic and practical alternative to driving.
- massive new decent theme park off the m4 / m5 (<— a priority policy this one).
- allow a vote on Scottish independence (if they want to leave then it’s up to them really).
- reforms on gambling (advertising banned).
- increase NHS funding, restrict expensive ‘locum’ arrangements.
That’s what immediately comes to mind. Longer term, I might consider what to do with the monarchy and the EU, but there’s no need to address those issues now IMO - more time needs to pass.

I think you will find that will only hit mum and dad properties. It will not have any impact on property farmers or companies.
Then again this is what it is designed to do, kill off mum and dad individual properties and transfer them to large banks or companies that will rent them out.
Ban all mps frpm having a second job.
Every mp personel property and/ or business are held/ managed by the state till the term of service is over (held in escrow) Country does well, get a bonus. Does badly, your stuff is gone.

its funny.... despite the (totally legitimate) anger at the costs of BoJos decorating............ my 1st thought was what a rip off and what awful taste they had as a couple......... i wonder if sunak has ripped it all out already? i would hope so as it was just like an indian restaurant (which is fine.......... IF you live in an indian restaraunt . ....
such a waste.
maybe they could pull some of the money back by selling small bits of the wallpaper mounted in plastic blocks, like you could buy bits of wembly back in the day or small bits of burned brick from pudding lane (fire of london)

Banning tracking of voting slips. They have an unique serial number on them. They can trace it. As in the past, had communications from parties I have voted for saying "Thank you for voting for us the during the last election". In order to do this communication was to cross reference my slip.

Blanket ban on consultants your either fully employed by the NHS on 39hrs ona ROTA or not.
Revert road tax back into fixing roads and road infrastructure.
All new builds to have solar panels fitted.
Councillors and MPs are to live in the constituency they are standing in (min 5 years) to be allowed to stand.
Allow badgers to be shot in the head if the farmer allows land access.
