So you've just become PM, what's on the menu?

Reduce corporation tax and other tax related to workers by 5%.
introduce tax deductions for employee training.
Do away with some taxable deductions.

Those that claim pensions and living in areas of commerce will need to sell their home and move to the sea side.
in order to enforce this no hospitals will service anyone over pension age in areas of commerce.
Take us out of the human rights act and create are own citizens rights, no rights for none citizens.
Properties that lay empty with no one working Compulsory purchase order.

Free education for all that are able.
Ban foreign ownership or company ownership of residential property.
tax breaks for foreign investment in industry.
 
My policies would be as follows, mostly to do with the housing shortage:

- Ban MLMs (multi-level marketing). They could be classed the same thing as pyramid schemes.
- Ban buy-to-leave. This is where investors buy out multiple properties / flats but leave them empty. This reduces the housing stock.
- Ban rent-to-rent. This is when a landlord lets out a house as a house-share (rooms) via an external company.
- Ban 2nd homes. These are homes that are left empty for at least half of the year - similar problem to the above where places being left empty reduces the housing stock.

If you mean weed, then yes I agree with you. Everyone smokes weed. Ok, maybe not you or me, but when I say that "everyone smokes weed", I mean like 99% of the population. Legalise it, regulate it, tax it, and put police resources into more serious issues such as burglaries and violent crimes.

I disagree with this, because a death penalty can't be reversed if there was new evidence that found that the defendant wasn't the guilty party.

Nah. I'm no royalist myself, but the Royal Family brings in more money into this country via tourism than the amount it costs to run the royals.

Agreed, but beers should remain in pints and pizza / TV diameters are kept in inches. I have a couple of friends in Germany and they use inches for pizzas / TVs but metric for everything else.

4. Roll out fibre broadband, pronto. Everywhere. Just get it done.
5. Abolish Right to Buy, Help to Buy. Get building social housing. It will be modern tower blocks with green spaces below.
6. Trees. Trees everywhere.
7. Re-open all those branch lines Beeching destroyed. New national bank holiday where we all burn effigies of Beeching and then pee on them. Then burn them again.
8. Stop being obsessed with "growth". Instead, obsess over sustainability.
8+. Stop making anything disposable. Ban planned obsolescence. Outlaw single-use plastic. If your **** doesn't last a few years before breaking, go directly to jail.
9. No tax breaks for private schools and all that jazz. Free university education (except for media studies degrees).
10. Increase general taxation to 50% or something that will make Tory voters spontaneously combust.

My parents haven’t had a sunroof on their cars since the M reg Mondeo. Unsure if the R reg Mondeo had one or not
 
Ban CEOs having massive bonuses and pay rises when their businesses have performed badly, had mass redundancies etc. Also they should not have massive pay rises when their employees get FA.

Bonuses are meant to be earned and awarded for good results.
 
I geuninely would not want to be PM, but much rather be some form of rich billionaire who could set up a renewable energy company but (the important part) have enough clout to force the governments hand to give me the clout to build where experts feel renewable generation needs to be built and to ignore NIMBY twits.

Cities currently rundown but with the right infrastructure could build the tech. Take Hull, they have ship building facilites. am sure they could be modified to build massive turbine blades for instance, i would try to build ukcentric where possible.

Also with the power to force the national grid to put in the upgrades needed in those areas to cope with the added generation.

that said.

my 1st thing would be to sack almost all the current lot, and surround myself with experts in their field who will challenge me based on actual science and data rather than political ideology......... my big push would be on getting out current housing more energy efficient and pushing renewables where ever possible. My view is even the most talented leader cannot be an expert in all fields which is why the current government policy of surrounding with yes(wo)men rather than actual talent who know what they are doing is so offensive. (not just a swipe at torys btw, all parties seem to do it to some degree - what qualifcations did Angela Rayner have to be shadow Education Secretary for instance?)

i know naff all about economics so i am not gonna say i would tax the rich more, and force the likes of Amazon to pay more tax - even tho idealogically i would like to..... i would certainly squeeze as much as i dared......... but end of the day if they all stuffed off to another country then we could end up worse off than we are now.

OK so i am not allowed to reverse brexit... but i would fight to rejoin the common market.

Oh....and banning MPs from using any private services.

So Sunak seems on the hunt for a better standard of maths (on the news today).

If I was PM I would link all pay directly to your standard of maths, assessed via exams at 5yr intervals throughout your life.

Obviously under this system a typical MP salary would only be minimum wage.
 
1. Massive regulations of social media so that the algorithms are attuned to education for those under 18 like they are in China etc
2. A cold hard stop on the boats, any that land gets returned to France immediately the same way. Any lifeguards or Armd forces helping immigrants land in the UK are arrested and investigated
3. Massive shake up of the NHS to get rid of useless middle managers that bog the NHS down with red tape and give any money saved to Nurses, Doctors and GP's. Such as managers for diversity and Inclusion.
4. A return of a Section 28 style law to ban all discussion of LBGTQ+ in schools until the age of 16. In particular Gender ID and Trans issues.
5. Ban Trans organizations from entering schools and strip them of their charity status. This also includes banning drag queen story hour in any setting where children attend like libraries. Breaking this law will end in arrest and charged with endangering children
6. Raise the Tax Personal Allowance to £15,000
7. Freeze Council Tax for 10 years
8. Fast Track the building of Nuclear power stations aiming to build at least 5 in the next decade
9. Investigate building our own microchip fabrication facility so we're not so dependent on China for all our electronics
10. Pour money into researching AI as this is the next big industrial revolution and we need to lead from the front
11. Make it mandatory to teach children under 16 money management and basic economics. Basic life lessons to avoid debt.
12. Ban police from investigating posts on social media unless it is a direct and clear death threat.

Make large corporations that make ££££ pay their staff a wage they can actually live on then remove TAX credits so the Taxpayer is no longer subsidising their workforce

Adopt large scale tidal power negating the need for large scale nuclear, push for more local generation, push for new technologies such as vehicle to grid etc

do you really believe that?.. not the stopping boats i can accept people want to reduce those - as do i but likely not for the same reasons you do..... However i have to hope you are a decent human being and the rest was just not thought through. you would prosecute a lifeguard who chose to save potentially children from drowning or for refusing to push them back out to sea and face death?

I just dont believe you are that cruel.

it reminds me of that part of the book/film time machine with that girl drowning in the river and everyone just watched.
