Solar panel production figures

Near 18kWh so far today, battery is full, exported near on 8kWh and gave the whole downstairs air con a 2hr work out to save exporting so much :)

Funny old weather systems again I think!

Been a good day here with some clouds, but pvout has me at 22.9 and counting today.

Exporting a good sum, may be nearer 20 exported by close of business.
 
So close to 50 kWh generated!

My owns stats say 49.65 kWh
PV Output says 49.94 kWh
Victron VRM shows 50 kWh (but it does round to the nearest kWh)

VRM states 44 kWh exported (rounded up again), but HA via electricity meter states 41.806 kWh exported, import was 13.538 kWh

Either way a cracking day and another record, but not quite in that 50 kWh club, yet.

You're not allowed to round up @Ron-ski! :D

You need to add another panel somewhere, that ought to do it. Does next door have a roof they're willing to lend you?

Final figure: 25.8 kWh Generated, 9.2 kWh imported, 19.7 kWh exported.
 
Cloudy for most of the day again but still not too bad.

16.7kWh generated and 7.9kWh exported.
 
@HungryHippos Which is why I've always stated my figure for generation, and now I have a Glow CAD and HA up and running I can see exactly what has been exported as well - that was always a bit vague as the VRM rounds it one way or the other.

As for more panels?
  • Solar Car port - space for 15 panels.
  • Solar veranda - 5 panels.
  • North roof and north east roofs - lots of space
  • Replace original array
But alas the above isn't going to happen (not even to keep up with @katie279 ), and besides tomorrow and Thursday's weather is looking good, 50 kWh is just a day or so away :D

ended the day with 20, was really bright at work at the top of Portsmouth, but could see the cloud on the hill so presume it was the same over home. Supposed to be a 35+ day tomorrow though

How is the glow cad going ron-ski??? im on the list for an octopus mini, which gives live data from the smart meters straight to the octopus app in 30min intervals, so will soon start seeing live export data when it arrives
 
@Welshman Apart from not showing live export power its working well, I raised this with Glow and they think its something to do with the actual meter firmware. Their apps also at present are not setup to show export, although they are working on this.

It's nice having all the meter readings in HA, with the exception of the generation meter.

I'm also on the list for the Octopus Mini

I'm in London until Thursday, so I've brought a smog machine to cover the South East...... :cool:

Yeh i spoke to jane at hildebrand on the phone a few weeks ago when i was trying to sort my bright export wifi out, it never worked in the end, which was annoying. They said they was working on providing live export data as DCC have the data available, but said it was not part of their current business model.

Im putting an HA project together with a raspberry pi in the coming months, hopefully have the mini by then and i can get it all showing nice in the IPAD HA ios APP. I got a few screen damaged ipads here (new puppy and clumsy Mrs) which im going to use as wall mounted pads in kitchen and bedroom, for lights, cameras etc etc

im just annoyed that both bright and octopus dont set the apps up to show the 30 minute data they recieve already from DCC. They need the info for their flux, agile and go export rates, so why not send it out to the apps at the same time.
