Yes that's what surprised me. Even cloudy days seem to produce a reasonable amount. I guess the intensity of the sun helps when it's not winter time.To be fair if it's bright and cloudy it seems the systems can still do pretty well I find.
It's the dark/rain clouds that kill performance totally.
Did you turn the sun off?
