First thought when I turned on was, Barca in freefall, 1-1 now though. Not really seen how they've played.
Only just saw the replay for the goal aswell, awful cross, tame as crap, terrible defending, one guy just knocked it perfectly in for Messi to have a shot, tidy finish though keeper should have done better.

Its not that barca are in freefall, it just they are in decline. Every team goes through a cycle.

He's been quiet most weeks recently, but obviously when he's on song there's no better player in terms of dribbling and going round defenders. One of the best things to watch in the modern game is him charging at a panicking defence, although Ronaldo's (frequent) bullets from 25-40 yards and free kicks, along with the movement of the ball in the air he generates are just as fun, but for different reasons.
Hard to believe Barca are only 8 points in front of Valencia. Wasn't there nearly a 40 point gap one year between these two as 1st and 3rd place in the league? It was something ridiculous like that.

When he's hit his stride though, yes. Keeper parried Tello's shot, Messi was there to put it in the net.
