Spanish Grand Prix 2010, Circuit de Catalunya - Race 5/19

Yawntastic

Gutted for lewis tbh he was only able to over take at the pitstop because he managed to keep on the back of Vettle. Cruel way to end the race, Got a feeling next week will be boring also.

The amount of effort Hamilton has put into his driving this season so far does not reflect in the results at this point.

I.e. if you were not following the races but just the results of the season and looked at that results line up as a snapshot you would not be overly impressed to see a world class driver such as Hamilton only drawing level with another driver who by most peoples opinions is a mediocre or less than mediocre driver.

Do any F1 fans follow a season from such a birds eye aloft view though? I don't know of any?

I would say that this is not only limited to fans, but also those who perhaps follow the sport but not avidly.

E.g. Today I am eager for Chelsea to win their game but I will not be watching the game.

But I am very avidly interested to know the result.

At the end of the day, had the championship ended with the results as they are... despite differentiable performance on track, Massa and Hamiltons efforts have equated to the same result.

(Oh and JB would be champ again :D)

Form is temporary, class is permanent. Say what you will, Vettel is far the superior driver much like Hamilton is to Button.

Queue eff tea :D

Wish we could have got that Merc unit.

And I'm sure they'd love your aero + "magic" ;)

hmm.. active ride ;)

;)

Barcode gone from Ferrari cars, just noticed its still in full view on the helmets!

And the new design looks even more like a pack of fags!! (Cigarettes :p)

119 - 116 - 113 at the top of the constructors, very close :)

GG for Merc's championship hopes?

One thing that should be noted is that RedBull seem to be in a situation where they have the fastest car, but Vettel and Webber are sharing the points/wins. This could lead to a situation where the likes of Alonso/Hamilton/Button will win the title, in a slower car.

My feelling is that RedBull's decision to not back a single driver will cost them this year.

I liked what EJ was saying today, especially in regards to the front wing. The front wings are not only wide, but they are tall, having multiple storeys, ie. they have 2-3 layers.

I think it was silly to use smaller tyres (less mechanical grip) and not reduce the huge front wings.

If they lose it'll be reliability not point sharing. Button and Hamilton are also point sharing.
