Vettel could also try the flying final stint on softs here, very old softs at the end for Ham vs new softs for Vettel. If he pits and flies for 12 laps, it is possible and he'll be way way faster by the final couple of laps.

Brundle talking about drag, has anyone noticed Ferrari's top speed without DRS? A couple laps before the pass Ham hit 333kph with drs while Vettel got DRS and hit 326kph. So presumably he's somewhere around 312-317kph max without drs depending on how good their drs is?

312 vs 333kph looks roughly right for how quick he closed the gap at the end of the straight.

Palmer is a joke, but his attitude is worse, takes zero responsibility, it's always the team or cars fault. Drivers that take responsibility for actual poor performance and then go looking for the answer turn into great drivers, those who only look for excuses end up like Palmer, no where.

They should be thinking about replacing Palmer soon imo, let someone else have half a season to get used to the team, improve and then have a go next year. Palmer just isn't improving at all.
 
Alonso 15th is a disappointment.

I think he has stopped getting the maximum out of the car for quite a while now, stretching back to last season.

Hey, I may jinx it, but he's still going around which is an improvement... embarrassingly.

This car can do 'okay' times in terms of qualifying because they can precharge that battery, but in the race they get so little ers power it kills their speed, and with so little harvesting, it kills their efficiency, which means they have to then go slower again to save fuel. Still a joke engine, I said the qualifying wasn't that impressive because the Mclaren has outqualified it's race performance for the majority of the last 2.5 years.
