That was my first thought, but then I thought can Vettel come straight in go on to mediums and head to the end of the race. Will he gain time through having an extra pit by doing it under the VSC?

It depends on his strategy, I think Vettel going onto mediums now, using them under VSC where he'll lose less time and save 10 seconds of pits then do 10 laps and go back onto softs could work for him. If he's doing two more stops having stopped so early that is.
