Been off ill with a ****ing awful head cold so far this week, but back to it tonight. If training with the missus I'll be doing squatz, if solo I'll be hitting that 50kg OHP for 3x8 :mad:

So had chest on Friday.

Low incline DB Press
14kg 10
26kg 8
30kg 8/8/6
24kg 8/8
Never managed a full set of 30kg by myself, so staggered I did 2, and almost got the 3rd!

High Incline DB Bench
20kg 10/10/8
Was getting some serious shoulder discomfort at this point so knew that was it for pushing.

Cable Crossovers
20kg 12
22.5kg 12/8
17.5kg 12
20kg and over I really struggle to get the cables down to start my sets. Any advice on this? I actually needed someone to pull the second cable down for me so I could get set up!

Again bit of shoulder discomfort and doing this on a dipping station without a mirror. Sounds daft but it's far easier to know if you're hitting parallel or not with a mirror!

Been really hitting shoulder stretches since this workout as they've been letting me down yet again. They've been tight as hell lately, so been doing lots of stretches and hitting the cod liver oil.

On the plus side, arm progress is decent. This pic was taken on Monday so not even pumped up!

NOICE! Loving the arms, they really show even when you're 'out and about', well jelly.

Know what you mean about the dips, I tend to find if I'm not struggling, I'm not deep enough :p Could try and record yourself as well, you'll soon know how deep to dip looking back :)

In fact watching back my last set, I seem to take a big deep breath and use that to help brace my core, hence why it looks like I'm pushing my gut out so much. Is this a problem anyone?

All in, pretty decent session. Happy with the amount of pressing, decent volume, decent numbers, awesome pump.
 
I like to alternate, especially when I have little challenges to beat. Previously it was working sets of 70kg on the BB, now it was 30kg on the DB.

Probably hit 75kg next week on the chest for barbell.

Awesome, cheers ice. I've put a lot of strain on my back doing OHP before, so I'm always conscious of not snapping my lower back when doing it now! Good to know it looks ok.
