Spartans unite! Tonight, we dine on the NHS!

Oh look another desperate double post in the MoNkeE log ;(

Did some rolling last night with a 2l bottle of Pepsi Max (no added sugar for your posterior correction requirements). Hitting my lower back was agony, I mean I literally yelped when I put my body weight on it. Had to easy myself on with my arms taking the weight and roll it up and down. Spent a few minutes doing this.

The result? Immediately afterwards, it was as if I had no lower back injury at all. I felt like a ****ing ballerina (the tutu didn't help), I think I have a LOT of soft tissue work I need to do. The dull ache is back today, but posture at work isn't helping, going to sort that out.

Will roll and whelp again tonight.
The way you whelped when I merely prodded your pec at the meet suggests that a) you have the pain tolerance of a little girl, and/or b) you have terrible tissue quality.

Get a sports massage :D

Or come and visit my torture emporium/sex dungeon.

I think it's a mixture of the two! You should see how sensitive some of my other soft tissue is, nomsayin'? :p

But seriously, I'm going to look in to that. What the hell shall I search for?! Sports Masseuse in Yell.com? :D

I'm so skeptical of most physios though :( Mainly from hearing people say "this one is excellent, I recommend them"!

Then walk off dragging their knuckles on the floor with a twisted hip-induced limp and shoulders practically resting on their knees :(

I got mind done by a sports therapist/beauty therapist!!! Many will cringe at this, but she got in to beauty therapy after sports therapy. She also works at a well established local spa, so i thought i would give her a go (she also waxes my chest /homo haha)

I have definatly seen improvements, no adverse affects. Strongly considering a graston session as well though :D

Chest Monday, was actually a good one this week. Got my pump on.

Holy LEGS OF PEACE Batman!

Seriously, I can't even walk right now. I totally had no energy for this workout when I got to the gym tonight, had a very boring day and spent the entirety of it sat down so my legs didn't feel good at all. But bashed it out awesomely.

Did a lot of wobbling, had to stabilise a few times just Jesus Christ I think these hurt more than walking lunges. Ruined my legs.

Cot Daym, desperate double post again, does no one like me? :(

I'm not surprised you were wobbling! BSS are tough without doing immense quad nukage before hand.

I can never work out what counts as 'failure' on a set of BSS... Guess it depends on how tight you're being on form, but wobbling too much and I figure I should do the weight again next time until I can properly control it.

As long as you don't fall over and it's still a squat, there's no problem. You wouldn't discount a back squat if your knees wobbled, if you still complete the lift.
