Not really, not when he normally does double that weight and more for sets. Wills responds best to high volume, so 1 rep or 2 rep sets of squats isn't going to do anything for him.

But I've spoken to him and he's explained. He won't be doing it again :p

Fair game, I just presumed the higher rep sets on everything else would have provided something at least. As you say though, depends on what you usually do.
 
High reps are great, but that sort of weight, Wills could do it all day. It's going to give him a pump sure, and it's better than nothing, but if your body is used to 250kg for 10 reps, it's probably not going to grow all that much when you do the same reps at 120kg

I'm a big believer in heavy weights not being the most important thing when aiming for size, but you still have to at least stick to what your body is used too. Going backwards in weight, no matter the form or reps will not get you anywhere
 
I'd like to point out that I also told Toby it's a different leg press machine :p 120kg on the sled is nothing like 120kg on the plate loaded press!
