So today is meant to be leg day, but it seemed really pushing on OHP yesterday resulted in my not squeezing my glutes and core enough, so compromised my lumber slightly. It's not painful, but slightly uncomfortable when bending/picking things up at the moment. Common sense says to not bother with legs, could even potentially do them tomorrow with Bonji....

... But wat do for today? Was tempted just to throw up some heavy bench triples.....
 
Would have actually done some trap work, but deadlifts earlier this week and shrugs yesterday have aggravated my tight trap again :D

All I did today, less than half hour :D the failed 3rd rep of 95kg was due to tightness in my shoulders, but didn't fancy trying again with no spotter.

Well was going to train legs as I missed leg session last week (described above), but I'd still like to give my lumber and trap a bit more time to work.

Oh yes, my trap.

I know I brag about it a lot, but having a sports therapist for a missus rocks. Vic spent a good 15 minutes digging her thumb in to my trap (both to a lesser extent). As described above, one is fleshy, one is solid. As the base of my trap (near the lat) there is a chunk which is just absolutely solid. I mean it almost feels like a vertebrae it 's that hard and knotted. 10 minutes working this area has alleviated a lot of the restriction and tightness in the trap, and mobility is more or less restored!

She's gonna spend 5 or 10 minutes every time she comes round trying to remove the tightness in the base, as it's still there, but fixing up very quick!
