How else to watch porn with the missus?
On the contrary, it's sweet that you think the down and dirty can only be done in the bedroom ;)

On that note the girlfriend and I were looking at new beds and there were so many that had the TV coming out of the foot-stand-end-thing. We just had to ask how many of those utter abortions they sold and the girl was like "umm, not many". lol :p

you sure about that? you sure that outside of this forum anyone gives an actual flying **** about corner sofas?
Yes I'm sure, it's not from this forum that I heard it. Some of the angry chav-like replies I've read here have only gone on to cement the stereotype I'm afraid! Like I said though, who cares what other people think, buy what you want, as long as you're happy that's the main thing! Live, love, laugh and all that.

This is our electric recliner corner in the kitchen. We think it works well for relaxing. When entertaining guests we can have tea/coffee and not leave the room.
Looks nice, but im confused as there is no surround sound:p. FWIW we are going for a corner sofa as our next one in a few years time as it will make the room look better. Only half our walls are white, the bottom half (seperated by a dado rail) is red. Also TV's in bedroom reduce sex life, true fact.

is there some sort of UK wide poll you can link to that confirms this or is it just your own experience you're drawing on?

edit: sorry also re

can you link me to some - curious to read them. curious to see how a reply can be an angry chav like reply and how that reinforce the idea that corner sofas are chav like.

Just my own experience and what I've heard other people say too (including in this thread). I think it basically stems from the fact a corner sofa looks like something you'd find in a caravan. Not really much to debate, it wouldn't stop me buying one if I liked them.
