Can just imagine you screaming down skype "WE ARE MASTABLASTAAAAAA" sitting on you case
In terms of eco-friendliness, perhaps you could look at some longer-term things, not just the components? If you're serious about it, you could switch to a renewable energy supplier. If you don't already, get digitally distributed games. Try to make the rig last as long as you can.
It seems like you might have already chosen, but ITX mobos can be less power-hungry. Obviously no SLI though.
It's a very admirable goal, really good to see someone making eco-friendliness a priority!
I assume you realise that you're building a PC with the same components that many other users on this forum have used?
Have you bought yourself an 80+ Titanium rated power supply?
My comment was tongue in cheek as there aren't any other than server grade units as far as I know.
80+ Silver is quite green so I wouldn't worry about it.

You'd be better of worrying about where the electricity is coming from more than a few % efficiency differences.
*facepalm* I want build pics
There's nothing even slightly 'green' about building a gaming pc! You're using pretty much the same components as most other people are using. There is nothing about your build which sets it apart as less environmentally unfriendly than anyone else's.
Which particular ISO green credentials are you referring to?
I see.
Samsung and Foxconn do know about it and both have it.
Samsung acquisition of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
Foxconn SER policy
I wouldn't base too much on the ISO 14001, its pretty much standard for most businesses these days, the company I work for acquired 14001 status a few years ago, all we had to do was setup a re-cycling system to get it and we are a million miles away from being a 'green' company.
You should be looking at other things rather than tags a business has and what power consumption their parts use, for example buying from someone that actively supports rainforest trusts etc... would make more of an impact than your machine saving the odd watt.
You are like green giant but smaller.
4.8 but I kept all the energy saving features on even tho they recommend not to it seams a waste of electricity. My pc is fast and green
