Spec me a torch

I have 9 Surefire CR123a battery's to go through and we have just got a massive desktop battery charger at work, and I can get CR123A (rechargable) cells for 99p from work.

Only found this out today as our new remote control for one of our products uses CR123A cells, if it was not for this I would get a L2D Rebel as it would work out cheaper in the long run!

Dont suppose you know if this is any good do you?

L2D Rebels plus the extras have been sent out today to chrisstevens and saitrix.

I strongly advise against shining these directly into your eyes when they arrive, as seems to be the trend with OcUKers

Yes, the offer still stands and you have mail.

The new Q5 models produce a slightly 'cooler' beam than the Rebel LEDs, and are also a tad brighter.

Everyone I've shown the P1D and P2D models to have been very impressed with the power to size ratio.

I would personally go for an "ultrafire". They compare very well to Fenix torches and are pennies on Ebay.
Mine came from HK, but are all very good :)

Damn forgot all about this thread and now I want one again... thanks... no really thanks a lot, there goes Guitar hero 3 for a few weeks ....

Fenix, I'm looking for one with strobe that can light up the majority of my garden , its about 40' x 40' mainly for security or looking for stuff in the shed,

thanks

Got my P1D Q5 and am amazed at the out put this tiny torch has. All of the geeks in my office now want one, and I'm probably going to buy a couple more of the larger cree LED based torches.
Superb bit of kit.
