Spec me an LED Torch

The Wurkkos TS21 is decent for the price, ABOUT £25 delivered which includes a 21700.

Bargain for the above torch. However it will never hit the mentioned 3500 lumen. Also they don’t mention any typical runtimes as well, but for the price you can’t complain.

Just reading a review of it here

Rude not to, SST20 4000k is probably the best bet? £27 with a decent 21700 cell is cheap.
This is blatantly you. Lol

Lolz, in the video it mentions that:

there's a magnet in the tail cap, in the event of a powercut it will enable the wife to be able to cook

:P

Mine should be here tomorrow. Any good ? UI Beam , handling etc etc ?
I'm not that into the technicalities of torches but it's well built, colour is great and nicely finished (went for red), beam pattern is clean and very warm (4000K emitter) plus floody which is what I prefer.

3500 lumens is a total fantasy though.

Sweet, I went for the black with the highest K, I just brought another Olight in the sales so the Wurkkos one will tie me over until get it.

My Wurkkos just got delivered. Seems pretty compact for a 21700 torch, its on charge at the moment and im trying to get to grips with the Anduril 2.0 UI and setting it up how I like it. Not bad for £27 inc battery. Will test it out proper when it is fully charged and in the evening.

Just had a play and wow this thing gets hot real quick on higher powers and certainly can't hold more that say 3-500 lumens constant as it ramps down from turbo almost instantly. Not great compared to my Seeker 3 Pro. Ah well nothing ventured , nothing gained. I think I will stick to my Olight in the future to be honest.

Just used mine in earnest and agree there are thermal issues. Drops to mediocre brightness quickly. Makes you wonder why they even bothered packing 3 emitters in such a small torch. Also 4000k is too warm I've decided.

Will try upping the temp limit as mentioned here:

Have to agree with this bit:

"After the initial drop from 3300 lumens, it’s basically a 200-lumen flashlight, comparable to an AA flashlight. You really need to bump that Max Temp, to something about 55 or 60 degrees.
There doesn’t need to be much explanation about the runtimes, because they are pathetic for a 3,500 lumen flashlight in default settings.

In order to get some kind of normal output and runtime, up the temp to 60+ degrees.
The first 12 minutes of the default temp vs the upgraded temp at 60 degrees can be seen below. It doesn’t pathetically drop to about 150 lumens within 1 minute, which is just stupid. The higher max temp has a much nicer drop, and stays at around 440 lumens after 7 minutes."

They do it for the claims of peak lumens for a couple of seconds!

I have a torch (spotlight?) which will do 4000 lumens for about 5 hours without getting hot and it's enormous because thems the rules.

LEDs are tiny, lithium batteries are insanely powerful but performance is limited by your heatsink :p

If the default is only 45C which is pretty hot already. Not sure what would 65-70C set would be like.

Also I’m not getting on with the anduril 2.0 ui as well. Lucky there is a quick reset option on this torch. But I prefer the simple ui on other torches I have to be honest.

Any torch that size will encounter thermal issues on turbo or high unless you are in the antarctic :)

For the price it's a decent torch just to keep around the house or in the car and just use it on medium for a longer runtime.
