Trust me, you will appreciate the difference between 1080p and 1440p... it's a fantastic upgrade. And as mentioned, you're wasting a 1080 on 24" 1080p screen.

You've got a 1080P when you now dont need it, a 1070 will run that monitor fine.

Depends on the game, some are very pretty and thus demanding and others will fly along on a single card.

That should do like 35-40fps at 4K with a single 1080
