I have to say I'm very impressed with Rangers start to the season. We've offloaded several quality players, had two tough games in Europe and two away games to them teams that were in 3rd and 4th before we beat them - and we remain undefeated. Long may it continue. Ally McCoist will be getting the best training possible under Walter Smith at the moment - let's hope he learns from the master in time for next season.

Somewhat disappointing having led for most of the game but that's the way it goes sometimes, nice to have Skacel back scoring goals too. Hopefully this will be the start of a few improved performances and wins.

And we have been for nine or ten months.

I would just like to see a competent manager brought in. Someone with plenty of experience, who won't take any nonsense from the players. Or at least someone who knows how to pick and organise a team.

Celts come from behind and win 3-1 against a very impressive Hamilton Accies side. They started off like they did indeed have something to prove and thoroughly deserved their lead, Celts proved too strong though and ran out easy winners in the end.

Celts go top due to better goal difference. Hail Hal.

Hughes leaves Hibs.

Disappointing as i liked Hughes but as it is a results business i guess it was the only likely outcome this week.

Craig Brown seems like a good option.

Craig Brown seems like a good option.

I'm also disappointed with him leaving but not because I liked Hughes particularly... :p

Craig Brown could probably do quite well at Hibs but I hope he sees through what he has started with Motherwell and that's not entirely due to a certain amount of schadenfreude at Hibs' form.

There's no beginning to my enthusiasm.

To be fair recieved undeserved critism at Aberdeen, always in the top 6 and made the last 32 of the UEFA cup....He'd be the smart and sesible option imo :)

Also Jelavic out with Cruciate Ligament Damage on his Ankle following an absolute shocker of a challenge from Ian Black on Saturday! Gutted as he has some great technique and poise, will be missed.

Good win on Saturday at a very hard away ground, to be fair Kello really made some great saves.

Motherwell at home after the international break so hopefully continue our good form going into the Valencia game at Ibrox :D

Isn't cruciate the knee?

Was a bad challenge by Black I thought, I'd have dished out a red if I was the ref.

yeah. your cruciate is in your knee. The rangers website says "ankle ligament damage"

Aberdeen 0-1 Hearts
Hibernian 2-1 Kilmarnock
Inverness Caley Thistle 1-1 St Johnstone
Rangers 4-1 Motherwell
St Mirren 2-2 Hamilton Academicals

Well, beating Aberdeen at home is always pleasant. I did think for a brief spell that Motherwell were giving Rangers a game but I looked away for a few minutes and the scoreline looks like they rolled over - no idea if that's an accurate reflection though.

Dundee United 1 - 2 Celtic

Good win for Celtic today. Never in my life have I seen a decision like the one for the penalty that never was.

More than one penalty was waved away. Just what do Celtic have to suffer to get a penalty as today's performance from the officials was nothing short of shocking.

I was very pleased to see us walk away with all three points. The forward line was looking very composed and but for the officials and the woodwork, the scorline would have been even greater.
