rangers winning 2-0, have them in a 2 accumulators which is good, also picked celtic so hopefully they win later on as well. newcastle beating villa which is going to cost me 2 diff accumulators, hopefully a comeback from villa is on the cars but without martin oneill i doubt they will.

hope he comes back to celtic at some point in the future, he does spend a lot of money but he does get results. celtic have made some shocking signings over the past year. we really need some decent money from europa league this year.

Rangers finally winning 3-0 with a hat-trick for Kenny Miller but the main talking points will be the antics of Lafferty and McGregor in the first half, so will be interesting to see what the referee puts for the incidents in the match report.

Should be an easy Celtic win against St. Mirren this afternoon at Parkhead.

what did Lafferty do? He got booted out from his rented home a few months back, he was staying in a £1.75 million house next door to my cousins. He has 3 pug's which im assuming are his gf's as 1 of them wears a pink scarf. They dont walk them, they just let them loose to run about. Apparently they had to have 3/4 cleaning vans turn up to clean the house after he was booted out because of the mess the dogs made inside the house. This is the 2nd house he has been kicked out of, the guy is a complete waster. He really needs to be brought down a few notches. Billy dodds lives in the same estate and he is the complete opposite, you couldnt have a nicer person living there. He waves to everyone he see's, whereas lafferty just drives past in his white bentley at some speed.

3-0 is a rather bitter result considering the good possession and chances Hibs had.

I'll refrain from commenting on the shenanigans of certain Rangers players.

read the bbc article on the game.

ranger's players diving to the ground clutching their faces even though nobody touched them. last time lafferty done it, this time mc gregor, will they ever learn? lafferty making wreckless challenges yet again, how he hasnt been banned from football i dont know, he is intentionally trying to ruin players careers. he is a complete **** on and off the pitch and a disgrace to scottish football, i dont know how anybody could defend his actions.

Saw the Hibs v Rangers game. Hibs looked the more dangerous team until it went to 10v10. Then Rangers stepped it up. Weiss did well when he came on. Miller did very well for his 3 goals, he's become a big player for Rangers.

McGregor going down clutching is face was pretty bad. You'd have to imagine the SFA will look into it.

Lafferty last season and McGregor this season. It makes you wonder just what kind of training goes on at Murray Park. Finally about Rangers, how many times is Weir going to be allowed to grab opposition players by the throat before the refs do something about it? It's a straight red card according to the rules.

Celtic looked very comfortable today and made the demolition of St Mirren look particularly easy when you consider the amount of times we hit the woodwork. Forrest took his goal well and is looking like a very able replacement for McGeady. Ki's goal is up their with McCourts as early contenders for goal of the season.

Outstanding second half performance from Rangers and particulalry Kenny Miller who has blossomed in to an outstanding centre forward. His movement off the ball and positioning is excellent. 4 goals in 2 matches will do for me and makes me wonder where Jelavic will fit in to things? :)

Weiss`s 20 mins were also very impressive and he looks to have a real nice touch about him. Bougherra`s last ditch tackle to prevent Hibs going 1-0 up was also worthy of note.

I don`t know what goes through players` heads in situations like this but when they fall to the floor as if they have been shot is vomit inducing. I`m sure Walter will have a word with McGregor about it. It really is quite pathetic.

Cant disagree with a word you said there McRod. Still an outstanding result at the end of the day there wont be many teams go through there and get that kind of result. Brines had a shocker though imo hibs got away with a heck of a lot. For me after seeing the Celtic game its it has to be between Hamilton and St Mirren for the drop so thats 2 who will be voting for no relegation this season and 2 to move up straight away.

Celtic 4-0 St Mirren
Dundee Utd 0-4 Inverness CT
Hamilton 0-4 Hearts
Hibernian 0-3 Rangers
Kilmarnock 0-1 Motherwell
St Johnstone 1-0 Aberdeen

What happened at Tannadice? That's not like United at all.

I rate this ineptitude as being 8.5 on the Kirk Broadfoot scale. :D

Ahem. ;)

Don't know what happened to United but it's not a good time to be in the city at the moment, RTW going into administration and the Tangerines getting pumped at home.

I'd never really noticed until you posted but it seems to have been quite a high scoring weekend overall.

Alloa v Aberdeen in the 2nd round of the cup tonight :)

Really hoping we don't lose to yet another team in a lower division :(

Alloa 0 - 3 Aberdeen

8 goals scored and 0 conceded in 3 games, pretty impressive stuff ;) Major issue though that Fyvie (one of our best players) got stretchered off last night and it looks serious :(

Well done Aberdeen for not falling at their regular hurdle. Maybe they'll make a season of it this year as the way they where playing last year, with their dodgy results, had them looking like relegation material before the season had even started.
