Sounded like at least St Johnstone went on the attack for a change even scoring the first goal. Also, Jelavic supposed to have a decent game even if hard tackling missed by the ref so should be a good signing.

Was surprised at Killie and Hamilton getting wins today so hopefully a more interesting domestic season given our clubs' European exploits. :)

Oh and if we're doing lower leagues as well another defeat for Partick. :(
 
Definite bit of contention regarding Rangers first goal. To quote Richard Gough -

'That wouldn't have been given at the other end of the field'

I'll need to wait on the highlights to see just how bad it is.
 
Motherwell 0-1 Celtic
St Mirren 1-0 Hibernian

Celts go top of the table on goal difference. Celts where pretty ineffective until Samaras was subbed, here's hoping some team is stupid enough to buy him before the transfer window closes.

Happy so far with our performances. We`ve never really looked like dropping points.

Some very nice performances too by our Scottish lads. Miller and Naismith have had excellent starts.

The wheels will come off Cletics band wagon soon enough. ;). It always does. :D

In your dreams boy. Celtic have looked pretty comfortable so far and with a new addition or two over the next few days I expect us to walk the league this year. As soon as Rangers get a few injuries in their depleted squad, the wheels will fall off their wagon, although a few honest mistakes may help to rectify any games where it looks like you are about to drop points.

Over half of the SPL managers complained about 'honest' mistakes that went the way of Rangers last year and amounted to a lot points being won by your team, more than the eventual points gap that you held over Celtic at the end of the season. Here's a Dundee Utd game for you to watch with your blue tinted glasses on?

The evidence you put forward isn`t from last season. Perhaps some better research should be practiced before submitting evidence. Reminds of the research you done on Martin O`Neil versus Walter Smith. It wasn`t very good was it?.

We`ve been through this before. The standard of refereeing, not just in this country, but everywhere, is generally rather poor and Rangers are no more and no less a victim of it than anyone else. It`s simple human error and honest mistakes.

To suggest there is an anti-celtc conspiracy really smacks of desperation and paranoia. It`s alarming someone can actually beleive this to be true.

I think even in the event of television cameras being used, you`ll still go on about conspiracies. It seems to be in the mind set of the average cletic fan that theres someone out there plotting against you?. Do you honestly hand on heart beleive this to be the case?.

You really need to get a grip on reality and accept that Rangers are simply better. ;)
 
Any Aberdeen fans able to give us the low down on Ricky Foster.

Prior to this morning, if he had walked through my door, i wouldn`t have known who he was. I notice he has picked up a couple of player of the year awards among the Aberdeen fans.

I also read that he had a problem with Jimmy Calderwood. Can anyone enlighten us?. :)
 
The standard of refereeing in the Scottish leagues is a joke at times and both OF clubs have gotten results from dodgy decisions. To think there is some kind of conspiracy against one club due to the number of those decisions just makes people look daft.

We all remember the boycott that some Celtic fans threatened last season due to referees/SFA discipline system, but in the end it was their teams performance that brought in the low crowds so now any talk of it just reminds us of that.

It's early days yet for the new Celtic team despite the horror performance in Europe, so we'll just need to wait and see if they're good enough to win the SPL. Once Rangers' small squad starts to get injuries later in the season the league should get more interesting to see if the transfer policy will come back to haunt them.
 
Do I also need to post the video of a certain top flight referee singing your theme tune?

I am aware the the Dundee Utd clip is not from last season but it shows just how much favour Rangers seem to get from the officials. When over half of the SPL managers complain about referees in games against Rangers last season, you can't reasonably argue that you simply get the rub of the green from time to time. None so blind as those who will not see.

Again, spell Celtic properly or I will have to assume you are doing it on purpose to annoy.
